The village of Balloch is at the beginning of Loch Lomond with its easy access to local transport. The area has much to offer with Scotland’s first National Park - Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park.

Is set amidst some of Scotland’s most idyllic and unspoilt areas, it is engulfed by natural beauty and surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. There are nature trails and Ranger service guided walks.

Balloch Country Park is home to Balloch Castle which was built in 1808, and contains visitor centre and restrooms.

Balloch and the surrounding areas of Gartocharn, Drymen and Luss have a large variety of restaurants and pubs to suit every occasion and budget.

Scotland’s 6 major cities: Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh are all within touring distance of the apartment:

• Edinburgh is famous for its annual festival, castle, and culture while Glasgow boasts great shopping, nightlife and architecture.
• In Stirling you’ll find monuments and castles and Blair Drummond Safari Park a must for Adults and kids!
• While Inverness sits on Loch Ness and is the gateway to the highlands
